Community Partnerships
Welcome to Durango School District 9-R School/Community Partnerships!
Our high quality schools are one of many reasons Durango is one of the best places in the nation to live, and community support is vital. We recognize that strong collaborative relationships among the family, school and community produce positive educational and social outcomes for our students while also benefiting the community.
Our goals areā¦

- To create ongoing connections and relationships with approved community partnerships who share their expertise and resources with students, in and out of the school setting, that enhances learning in relevant, meaningful and authentic ways
- To provide our students and their families access to programs or services that will support their emotional, social, and physical growth throughout the educational process to help ensure academic success
- To have and maintain a mechanism for community partners and our schools to share their expertise and services with one another
